2003 Frühburgunder Classic, Ahr, Germany

Cassis on the nose, mienral notes. More dark berries on the palate, some cherries and plums, medium-fine, fairly mature tannins, not totally dry, slightly jammy, mineral and delicate smoky notes, attractive to good finish.
