2003 trocken Cuveé Georg, Ahr, Germany

Fairly shy nose with tea, some dark berries, mineral and some roasted notes. Rather short fruit on the palate, mineral notes, more tea, fairly prominent acidity, astringent, still slightly angular tannins, improves significantly with aeration, but really should have more depth and concentration, fairly short finish.
