Editor note: Intense red berry nose, tobacco, some cassis and mineral notes. Clear fruit on the palate, fine, fairly prominent tannins, high in alcohol, mineral notes, good presence, medium persistence, creamy on the finish, which again shows the high alcohol. Becomes more harmonious, and finishes longer with aeration.
