2005 Frühburgunder Classic, Ahr, Germany

Fairly simple nose with plums and tart red berries, some vegetal notes and old oak. More old oak and vegetal notes on the palate, light smoky notes, fairly juicy fruit, mineral notes, not particularly deep, but harmonious, slightly creamy, sweetish and spicy on a fruity finish.
