Fairly tart nose, hint of tobacco, spicy oak, red and a few black berries, hint of bacon, light peaty traces. Fairly firm, ripe, partly preserved fruit on the palate, nutty oak, hint of tobacco, fairly prominent tannins, still slightly astringent, good substance and persistence, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, smoky and toasted aromas, hint of bacon, hint of chocolate and coffee, full body, very slightly rustic style, very good finish.
