2018 Bingen Scharlachberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Tart nose, still slightly reductive and smoky, also still yeasty, prominent herbaceous and intense mineral notes, light yellow fruit, delicate peppery notes. Firmly structured, clear, fairly elegant, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, very elegant acidity, integrated tannins provide grip, yeasty traces, light floral and herbaceous notes, hint of tobacco, prominent stony mineral notes, excellent depth, still veryyoung and slightly restless, concentrated, complex, verydelicate hint of dark berries in the background, very elegant phenolic notes provide additional backbone, clear contours, very good, long, firm, gripping finish with light peppery notes.
