2015 Eisenberg DAC Blaufränkisch Reserve trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Clear, fairly cool, very polished nose, blackberries and cherries, some dried herbs, hint of tobacco, light peppery spice, earthy and mineral notes. Ripe, juicy dark fruit on the palate, very fine youthful tannins, light spicy, toasted, smoky oak, elegant acid bite, persistent and concentrated, still largely undeveloped, salty mineral notes in the background, firm grip, hint of tobacco, peppery notes in the background, full-bodied, but remains fairly cool, quite polished and complex, some bite on a very good juicy, spicy finish.
