Translate to English Herber, holzwürziger Duft nach teils überreifen schwarzen und etwas roten Beeren mit getrocknet-pflanzlichen bis tabakigen Aromen sowie erdigen Noten und merklichem Alkohol. Überreife, etwas kompottige Frucht im Mund, holzige Aromen und etwas trocknend-sandiges Tannin, Malz und Tabak am Gaumen, erdige und nussige Töne, nachhaltig, sehr viel Alkohol, strengt dadurch inzwischen ziemlich an, gute Nachhaltigkeit und Länge. Entwickelt sich nicht so gut, wie seinerzeit erhofft.

Best to drink: 2007-2015.
Editor note: Very deep nose, very ripe red berries, cocktail cherries, some cassis and plums, mineral notes, vanilla and delicate roasted notes. Concnetrated on the palate, oak more prominent here than on the nose, very creamy, fine, ripe but still youthful tannins, very full-bodied, excellent structure, cool mineral foundation, persistent, still totally undeveloped, quite a modern style, noticeable alcohol, but not dominant, good long finish. Definitely needs time to develop.
