Fairly mature nose, prominent mineral notes, dried herbs and spices, candied citrus fruit, peaches and some apples. Concnetrated and juicy on the palate, ripe fruit, elegant tart spicy notes, elegant and quite lively acidity, sweetish and creamy, light touch of caramel and sugar candy, spicy tobacco, tart mineral notes in the background, vegetal notes, very persistent, firm structure, good depth, slightly more rustic than it was in its youth, and more developed than expected, full-bodied, long finish.

Editor note: Nose still totally undeveloped, extreme mineral notes, spicy vegetal notes, pomaceous fruit and stone fruit. Firm on the palate, concentrated, juicy fruit, vegetal notes, tremendous mineral structure, very elegant acidity, creamy, quite a traditional style, very persistent, powerful with great depth, but remains incredibly elegant, very complex, beguiling, fripping, perfectly balanced, complex on the finish, very long. A dream wine.
