2006 Hochheim Hölle Riesling Kabinett trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Prominent mineral notes on the nose, peaches and citrus fruit, hint of black berries and some apricots, dried herbs. Tart on the palate, prominent mineral notes, delicate fruit, herbaceous notes, definite bite, good persistence, not particularly deep, but clearly shows its origins, good finish.

Editor note: Peaches, apricots, citrus fruit and a hint of dark berries on the nose, delicate herbaceous notes. Clear and quite juicy fruit on the palate, not totally dry, delicate herbaceous notes, spicy mineral notes, waxy notes, fairly tranquil acidity, again a hint of dark berries, attractive finish.
