2007 Hochheim Hölle Riesling trocken Goldkapsel, Rheingau, Germany

Very firm, deep, almost hard nose, cool. polished mineral and herbaceous notes, peaches and pomaceous fruit. Veryfirm on the palate, again almost hard, thus appears almost light-bodied in spite of its substance, fairly cool, tart fruit, elegant, fairly prominent acidity, tremendous depth and persistence, prominent mineral notes, some more vegetal notes, totally undeveloped, compact, impressive, very long finish. Still needs a lot of time, will probably still improve.
