Smoky-woody, earthy and greasy nose, red and some black berries, leathery notes, some tobacco, dried flowers and dried herbs. Ripe, partly preserved and dried fruit on the palate, smoky and slightly greasy oak, fairly prominent fine sandy, slightly astringent tannins, fairly persistent, light acid bite, tart spicy traces in the background, hint of licorice, quite a bit tobacco, very slightly brittle, good to very good, slightly alcoholic, tart finish.
