The estate is located in the municipality of Esslingen (Remstal-Stuttgart area) in the German wine-growing region Wuerttemberg
, It is owned by Hans and Monika Kusterer. Worth mentioning is the medieval wine press building from the 14th century (1347), which the family acquired in 1991 in a very dilapidated condition and was repaired until 1994. Since then, various kinds of events have taken place here. The vineyards cover five hectares of vineyards in the terraced individual layers Schenkenberg
(with 47 parcels) and which has been in monopoly ownership since April 2007 Neckarhalde
(both Esslingen). They are planted with the red varieties Trollinger, Lemberger, Velvet Red, Pinot Noir, Blauer Portugieser, Dornfelder, Zweigelt and Merlot, as well as the white varieties Riesling and Pinot Gris. By promoting the natural enemies of the vine pests, healthy flora and fauna in the vineyard are supported in order to obtain a healthier harvest and thus better quality wines. Classic methods such as mash fermentation with a long shelf life are used in winemaking. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines and fine spirits (grapes, wine) are also produced.
