2008 trocken Cuvée "Goldkopf", Württemberg, Germany

Roasted and slightly smoky nose with notes of preserved dark berries and some bitter chocolate. Compact, delicately bitter, preserved and pickled dark berry fruit, has a certain polish, with notes of dried black berries, liquorice, partly dried herbs and dark chocolate, still noticeable oak notes, fine-grained tannins, has some power, slightly alcoholic on a good to very good finish.
