2015 Freinsheim Schwarzes Kreuz St. Laurent trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Tart nose, light toasted notes, cherries and partly preserved mixed berries, nutty and earthy notes, light dried vegetal and herbaceous notess. Fairly tart on the palate, earthy notes, smoky, toasted oak, dark chocolate, firm acidity, fairly prominent, slightly astringent tannins, salty notes in the background, some coffee notes, good persistence, light bitter touch, still young, dark juicy fruit and toasted notes on a tart finish.
