2002 Neusiedlersee Weißer Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese süß, Burgenland, Austria

Fairly shy, muted nose with stone fruit, fairly prominent mineral notes, herbs and spices, bread, some botrytis notes. Creamy on the palate, mineral notes, creamy peach fruit, delicate vegetal and fairly prominent mineral notes, straightforward, has substance, depth and a clear structure, cool, herbaceous notes in the background, still quite youthful and also still slightly closed, good, long finish.
