2005 Weißer Riesling Beerenauslese süß, Burgenland, Austria

Candied stone fruit on the nose, tart herbaceous notes, earthy notes and some bread, wilted leaves, some spice and nuts, hint of petrol. Fairly concentrated on the palate, soft, candied, caramelized pomaceous fruit, dried herbs, some zests of Mediterranean fruit, spices, candied nuts and dried herbs, integrated acidity, fairly creamy, good backbone and substance, very good, long, spicy finish.
