2006 trocken Pannobile, Burgenland, Austria

Editor note: Fairly cool nose, preserved cherries and some mixed berries, mineral and very delicate peppery notes, herbs and spices. Cool again on the palate, firm structure, quite concentrated, juicy fruit, but still closed, very fine tannins evenly distributed, restrained spice, touch of old oak, herbaceous notes, mineral notes in the background, very good persistence, has some depth, quite a long finish. Needs time to develop.
