2006 Reserve, Burgenland, Austria

Editor note: Initially oak on the nose with light burnt notes, then candied mixed berries and plums, some dried herbs, floral notes, sweetish tart spice, becomes more clear and develops minerality with aeration. Tart on the palate, light oak, light malted and floral notes, fairly cool fruit, slightly tart, slightly astringent tannins, noticeable alcohol, more juicy and develops increasingly intense mineral notes with aeration, firm and concentrated, slightly rustic style, slightly astringent on quite a long finish.
