Partly dried red berries and some black berries on the nose, cherries, light herbaceous and peppery notes, some cereals, oak, and a touch of sweet peanuts. Fairly tart fruit on the palate, earthy notes and dried herbs, more prominent nutty oak, slightly astringent tannins, earthy with a touch of bread, light acid bite, good persistence, prominent mineral notes, has some depths, very good finish. The oak with its peanut nuts tends to hide the finer nuances of the wine.
