2008 Ried Ungerberg Merlot trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Tart nose, red and black berries and some cherries, yeasty and earthy notes, some old oak. Quite cool and juicy on the palate, predomineantly dark fruit, soup greens, earthy and salty notes, vegetal notes, old oak, fine sandy tannins, good persistence, quite full-bodied, very slightly milky, good to very good finish.
