2009 Ried Heideboden Zweigelt trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Spicy nose, red and black berries, dried prunes, herbaceous notes, hint of raw meat, moderate toasted oak. Dark berries on the palate, raspberries and black cherries, vegetal notes and tobacco, spicy oak, some more peppery notes, integrated acidity, fine-grained tannins, fairly creamy and has some substance, light mineral notes, dark chocolate on a good finish.
