2015 Ried Ungerberg Merlot trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Firm nose, ripe black berries and some red berries, light nutty and smoky notes, peppery traces, hint of tobacco, earthy ahnd mineral traces. Firm, ripe, juicy fruit on the palate, smoky, toasted spicy and peppery notes, hint of bacon, fine youthful tannins, some bite, medium body, persistent, some depth, polished, more spicy notes on a very good firm, tart, juicy finish.
