2015 Reserve trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Quite a lively aroma of black and red berries with roasted wood notes, black pepper and a little mint, hints of porcini mushrooms and a hint of meat. Ripe, somewhat warm, quite dense fruit with smoky and bitter chocolate wood, some bite, lots of ripe, crumbly tannin, persistent on the palate, again peppery and minty, has power and substance, minerality in the background, a hint of dried herbs and citrus zest, very good, firm, juicy and woody-spicy finish with a little Brazil nut.
