Preserved sour cherries and blueberries on the nose, delicate malted notes, vegetal notes reminiscent of lovage, roasted and smoky notes. Prominent roasted, smoky oak on the palate, behind this some slightly overripe fruit, more malted notes, cocoa, very full-bodied and creamy, noticeable alcohol, not particularly deep, high alcohol on an oak-dominated finish. Slightly overdone.
