2009 Thermenregion trocken Harterberg, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Translate to English Herber, säuerlicher, dabei recht konzentrierter Duft nach schwarzen und roten Beeren mit Kirschnoten, an Suppenkräuter erinnernden Tönen, etwas rauchigem Holz und vegetabilen Anklängen. Jugendlich im Mund, dicht gewirkte Frucht mit deutlicher Holzwürze und pflanzlichen bis erdigen Tönen, herbe Würze, präsentes, etwas sandiges Tannin, nachhaltig am Gaumen, mineralische Noten und wieder Suppenkräuter, fester Bau, rauchig im Hintergrund, fast ein wenig speckig, viel Kraft und Substanz, gewisse Tiefe, ziemlich geschliffen, noch wenig entwickelt, sehr guter Abgang. Zwar eher modern, aber doch mit Charakter; sehr gekonnt.
