2015 Thermenregion Merlot Reserve trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Light meaty notes on the nose, red and black berries, touch of dried red vegetables, light toasted oak. Ripe, partly preserved dark fruit on the palate, toasted oak, some tobacco and some more dried vegetables, coffee and cocoa, noticeable warm alcohol, youthful, generally well integrated tannins, good persistence and substance, smoky notes, slightly jammy with some more chocolate on a very good finish.
