Black berries and prominent sour cherries on the nose, light toasted notes, peppery traces, juniper and meaty traces. Tart, juicy, cool fruit on the palate, fine sandy tannins, nutty notes, still has delicate yeasty notes, light earthy notes, hint of bacon, more peppery notes and some juniper, touch of oak, tannins still very slightly astringent, medium body, earthy notes and some ashes on a good to very good finish.
