2011 Spätlese trocken *SL Cuvée Schätzle Noir, Baden, Germany

Tart, spicy scent of dried and partly cooked black berries, dried herbs and some vanilla wood with vegetal notes. Slightly sweetish, smooth, slightly jammy berries and cherry fruit on the palate, oak, tart, spicy and earthy notes, vegetal notes, medium-fine tannins, has some persistence and strength, but remains a little superficial, cooked notes, a hint of drying aftertaste.
