Red and a few black berries on the nose, hint of tobacco and some coffee, earthy notes. Ripe, fairly polished fruit on the palate, toasted, slightly smoky oak, fine tannins, delicate acid bit, dried vegetal and earthy notes in the background,fairly fresh in spite of the high level of alcohol, hint of pepper and dark caramel in the background, very light hint of onion, not particularly deep, good to veryx good alcoholic finish.
