2008 Merlot trocken Roter Lehm, Pfalz, Germany

Slightly burnt and herbaceous tones in the chocolaty and undergrowth berry scent. In the mouth almost sweetish and a little artificially working, notes of chocolate, speculoos and some cinnamon, fine-grained tannins, the somewhat penetrating wood shapes the taste, medium-bodied, decent finish.
