2011 Piesport Goldtröpfchen Riesling trocken GC, Mosel, Germany

Yeasty nose, partly candied and caramelised citrus fruits and stone fruit with dried vegetal and herbaceous notes. Fairly sweet fruit on the palate, yeasty, herbaceous and slightly herbaceous notes, some sugar candy, caramel and light tobacco, lively acidity, fairly persistent, slightly plaid style, not particularly deep, sweetish sugar candy, hint of caramel and light herbaceous nuances.
