2010 Carnuntum Ried Rosenberg Chardonnay trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Translate to English Nussiger, etwas holziger und fein-vegetabiler Duft mit Aromen reifer, teils kandierter Zitrusfrüchte sowie etwas mürbem Kernobst und gelben Melonen mit buttrigen Spuren. Reife Frucht mit deutlich vegetabilen Aromen, schmelzig und wieder etwas nussig-holzwürzig, feine Säure, gute Nachhaltigkeit, Zitrustöne im Hintergrund, wieder auch ein wenig Butter, gute Substanz und Nachhaltigkeit, mineralische und kühl-kräuterige Nuancen, sehr guter, nur ganz leicht gedeckter Abgang.

Editor note: Pomaceous fruit and melon on the nose, prominent spicy oak and nutty notes, vegetal traces. Firm and juicy on the palate, clear fruit, nutty and vegetal notes, delicate spicy oak, elegant, fairly lively acidity, good grip and quite firm, prominent mineral notes in the background, persistent, good to very good finish.
