The "Rotweingut Maria Kerschbaum" is located in the municipality of Lackenbach in the Austrian DAC area Mittelburgenland, It is run by Maria Kerschbaum and son David. The vineyards cover 20 hectares of vineyards (including four hectares of lease) in the nearby municipality of Horitschon in the Breitgeres vineyards, Dürrau. Gfanger and Hochäcker, They are planted exclusively with red wine varieties. These are Blaufränkisch , Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Management is based on measures to reduce yields and improve quality. The two are premium wines Mittelburgenland DAC wines "Blaufränkisch Reserve Dürrau" and the "David's Show-Reserve" ( Blaufränkisch ) matured in barrels for 30 months, as well as the cuvée "Women" matured in barriques for 18 months ( Blaufränkisch , Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon). Around 60,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines are also produced. The wines are exported to Great Britain, the Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland. The winery is a member of the association Blaufränkischland Mittelburgenland,
