2001 Zeltingen Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese feinherb **, Mosel, Germany

Intense nose with minerals and spices, aromas of peaches, baked apples and citrus fruits. Very juicy fruit, firmly woven with lively acidity and dominant mineral notes, still extremely young in appearance, powerful and with a good grip on the palate, very persistent, almost vibrant structure, tremendous length. Definitely needs time to develop.
