2016 Spätburgunder trocken, Baden, Germany

A hint of onion-vegetal scent of more red than black berries with herbal notes and a hint of bacon and mustard seeds. Tart, rather cool fruit, quite juicy and again slightly onion, fairly prominent, slightly brittle tannins, good persistence, smoky nuances, slightly earthy and salty, good to very good, tart, slightly astringent finish.
