2017 Wachau Ried Mühlgraben Grüner Veltliner Beerenauslese süß, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Touch of yellow spice on the nose, vegetal and herbaceous notes, some almonds, partly candied citrus fruit and preserved stone fruit aromas, dried floral notes, earthy and mineral notes. Fairly firm on the palate, ripe, candied, sweet fruit, peppery as well as some yellow spice, dried floral notes, hint of orange marmelade, aromatic bitter touch, light tannic grip, integrated acidity, quite full-bodied, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, persistent, prominent nutty aromas, slightly tannic in a slightly rustic style, very good, spicy finish.

Editor note: Light vegetal notes on the nose, peppery traces, partly candied and dried yellow fruit, some yellow spice, earthy and mineral traces. Ripe, warm, partly dried and candied fruit on the palate, nutty, vegetal and earthy notes, hint of caramel, floral traces, creamy and slightly spicy, vegetal tracesand a hint of tobacco in the background, sweetish and warm with prominent caramel notes on a good to very good finish.
