2001 Frühburgunder trocken, Ahr, Germany

Cool minerally aromas, with a bouquet of sour cherries and black berries. Very pure, juicy fruit, elegantly herbal, with ripe, harmonious tannins, good body and mouthfeel, sweetness of ripe fruit, mineral notes in the background, very noticeable high alcohol level, that appears a little unbalanced, good finish.
