2017 Spätburgunder "Blauschiefer", Ahr, Germany

Tart nose, light earthy and mineral notes, red and a few black berries, dried vegetal traces, hint of tobacco. Firm, tart, juicy, lively fruit on the palate, light acid bite, ripe, youthful tannins, light nutty notes and a hint of cocoa, peppery traces, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, slightlycreamy, but also has some bite, fresh style, very good, juicy, spicy, mineral finish.
