2017 Weißburgunder, Ahr, Germany

Very slightly reductive, relatively cool, light-nutty, with a fresh, vegetal and hint of mushroom stone fruit scent with delicate floral tones. Straightforward, fairly light-bodied fruit, slightly covered, lively acidity, citrus fruit and a hint of white flowers, has some grip and some persistence, a hint of chalk, quite a good, sweetish finish with a bite.
