2008 Grüner Veltliner trocken Perfektion, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Fairly mature nose, pomaceous fruit, some pepper and mineral traces, light phenolic notes, light lactic and volatile notes. Tranquil on the palate, again fairly mature fruit, vegetal notes, slightly rough, more phenolic notes, not particularly deep, attractive finish.

Editor note: Mature pomaceous fruit and melon on the nose, touch of anise, light nutty and vegetal notes. Creamy fruit on the palate, tart nutty traces, some more vegetal notes, very elegant acidity, fairly creamy, medium-bodied and has some persistence, some more anise, mature pears, not particularly deep, light tannic touch, attractive to good finish.
