2015 Ockfen Bockstein Riesling Spätlese Zickelgarten, Grosse Lage, Mosel, Germany

Nose still somewhat closed, prominent vegetal notes, yellow fruit, delicate yeasty aromas, earthy and mineral traces i nthe background. Restrained, fairly firm, very sweet fruit on the palate, firm acidity, yeasty notes, light vegetal and herbaceous notes, persistent, still very slightly rough, fairly prominent mineral notes, has bite and grip, some depth, hint og tobacco in the background, very good finish. Significxantly better than the apparently faulty first sample.
