2018 Obervolkach Scheurebe Kabinett feinfruchtig, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Tart nose, vegetal notes, slightly grassy with light earthy notes, restrained yellow fruit aromas. Fairly firm, slightly sweetish fruit on the palate, yeasty notes, prominent vegetal and herbaceous notes, more light grassy notes, lively acidity, slightly sandy, ripe tannins provide grip, good persistence, hint of dark berries in the background, delicate nutty notes, touch of sugar candy, light mineral notes, yeasty traces, good to very good finish.
