2006 Neusiedlersee Merlot trocken Neuberg, Burgenland, Austria

Red berries and cherries on the nose, light vegetal and smoky notes, tart spicy oak. Clear, elegant, juicy, cool fruit on the palate, smoky, tart roasted oak, fairly fine tannins, persistent, earthy as well as salty mineral notes, juicy and still young, mineral notes, tart roasted spicy oak as well as fruit on a good finish.
