2009 Wachau Ried Loibenberg Grüner Veltliner Smaragd® trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Firm, cool nose, apples and citrus fruit, some peaches, tart herbs and spices, earthy notes, stony mineral notes. Full-bodied and juicy on the palate, firm slightly sweetish polished fruit, lively acidity, sugar candy and a hint of caramel, quite creamy with noticeable alcohol, good persistence, not particlarly deep, quite a modern style, good to very good finish.
