2001 Spätburgunder trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Spicy nose with aromas of ripe, partly cooked red berries and plums, with delicate floral and mineral notes. Elegantly juicy fruit with taut acidity, spicy, very slightly rustic note, still very youthful, quite firmly woven, tart mineral notes on the palate, piquant finish.
