2010 Oestrich Doosberg Riesling trocken Drei Trauben, Rheingau, Germany

Sweetish, somewhat nutty and yeasty, also slightly yellow-spicy and implied buttery aroma with yellow fruity and clearly vegetal, especially reminiscent of cabbage vegetables, a touch of bacon and smoky nuances. Firm, juicy fruit with plenty of acid bite, still yeasty flavors and notes of bright, rather fatty nuts, vegetal tones and hints of yellow spice, dense, persistent and grippy, herbal flavors, intense minerality, fine grip and lively acidity, complex, dense and deep, still rather young and of astonishing freshness, floral nuances, then also seaweed and pepper, almost compact construction, almost to chew, very good, firm, juicy, finely spicy, mineral and delicately nutty-buttery finish with grip and pull. After an obviously impaired bottle some months ago again in impressive form, rather stronger than ever - and again capable of development for years

Editor note: Vegetable, nutty and buttery-caramel nose with notes of crumbly yellow fruits, mushroom-like aromas reminiscent of morels and certain minerality. Astringent and rather firm in the mouth, somewhat muted fruit, quite present acidity, nutty, woody and dried vegetal tones, certain persistence and good substance, clear minerality, a little yellow spice, much handle, tobacco nuances, very good, firm, tart finish

Editor note: Translate to English Straffer und tiefer, kräuteriger Zitrus-Steinobstduft mit deutlicher Mineralik. Ziemlich saftige, dicht gewirkte Frucht im Mund, herbe Kräuteraromen und erhebliche Mineralik, straffe, feine Säure, nachhaltig, ziemlich konzentriert, viel Biss, sehr fester Bau, noch sehr jung, ausgezeichnete Tiefe, langer, straffer, saftiger Abgang.
