2012 Spätburgunder trocken Frühenberg, Rheingau, Germany

Nutty, spicy oak on the nose, red and a few black berries, floral traces, some beet root. Clear, polished, elegant, juicy fruit on the palate, firm, fine tannins, light acid bite, light vegetal notes, persistent, mineral notes in the background, nutty and vegetal notes, medium body, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, more nutty oak and very light sandy notes on a very good, fairly juicy finish.
