2015 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Pinot Nero Riserva Matán, Alto Adige, Italy

Light nutty oak on the nose, light dried vegetal notes, red berries and a hint of cassis, hint of tobacco, earthy and floral traces. Clear, fairly tart and cool fruit on the palate, nutty, spicy oak, some cocoa, earthy notes, hint of mushrooms, integrated, sandy, still slightly astringent tannins, malted notes and some bread, medium body, dark chocolate in the background, touch of coffe and salt, slightly brittle, dried fruit and malted notes on a very good finish.
