2013 trocken Pentagon, Burgenland, Austria

Firm, fairly deep nose, hint of tobacco, light touch of dried flowers, ripe black and a few red berries and cherries, peppery traces, mineral notes. Tart, juicy, ripe dark fruit on the palate, light smoky, toasted oak, some tar, hint of tobacco, light acid bite, fairly prominent fione, sandy, youthful tannins, full-bodied and persistent, firm grip, good depth, salty mineral traces in the background, peppery traces, hint of dried herbs, smoky notes on a very good firm, juicy, spicy finish.
